Transport/Warrant

The Transport Warrant unit of the Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the transportation of inmates and Warrant service.

We provide security at the Hancock County Courthouse and the Juvenile/Probate Court.

Transport Responsibilities

• ... to and from jails and prisons within the jurisdiction of Hancock County Courts.
• ... to and from all medical appointments.

Warrant Responsibilities

• Hancock County CommonPleas, Domestic Relations, Juvenile, Probate.
• Findlay Municipal Court
• Fostoria Municipal Court
• Other courts that may originate a warrant or an order for arrest or detention. 

Additional Responsibilities

The Transport/Warrant unit is responsible for Fingerprinting, Concealed Carry, and Sex Offender Registration and Notification.
