Visitors that choose to exit the building and are not present when their name is called will forfeit their visit.
Entrance may be denied to disorderly or intoxicated persons. Failure to provide proper identification, or failure to secure belongings in the visitor’s lockers located in the lobby may also cause entrance to be denied. Visitors must be properly attired to gain entry. Shoes or sandals are required. Visitors wearing transparent, low cut, and/or revealing clothing, shorts/cut offs shorter than three inches above the knees, halter tops/tube tops will not be allowed to visit. Visitors whose attire is deemed inappropriate by the reception officer will be denied visiting privileges.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS: No personal items, such as handbags, umbrellas, packages, hats, coats, etc. are permitted in the visiting room. Visitors are requested to leave personal belongings at home, in their vehicle, or lock them in the lockers located in the lobby. The lockers require 25¢. Insert the quarter in the coin slot, unlock the locker, open door, secure items, then remove key. When you leave, the 25¢ will be returned when you reinsert the key in the locker. No food or beverages are allowed in the lobby.
LENGTH OF VISIT: Each prisoner will be allowed a maximum of two (2) visitors per visitation period. Visitation periods occur three (3) times per week. Duration of each visitation period shall not exceed thirty (30) minutes. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18 in the visiting room. Children not entering the visiting room must remain in the lobby and be watched by a responsible person. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
