The Hancock County Justice Center on 200 W. Crawford Street was constructed in 1989 and was designed to comfortably house 96 inmates. The corrections staff is comprised of a jail administrator, jail sergeants, corrections officers and clerks.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office has collect telephones in all housing units within the Justice Center. Many questions have arisen about receiving telephone calls and what to do when a problem is encountered.
The inmate telephone system is provided and maintained by Securus Technologies (formerly Evercom Systems Inc.). Billing information is handled by Correctional Billing Services. They may be contacted 24 hours a day 7 days a week by any of the following means.
