CCW Renewal Process
The Sheriff’s Office did not keep copies of any certificates of competency used for the original licenses. If individuals do not have copies of their certificates of competency they must contact their original instructors for copies or take a new class to obtain the certificate. Application forms and CCW pamphlets are available at the Sheriff’s Office or at the Ohio Attorney General's Office WebSite. Renewing licensee’s who used retired Law Enforcement or Military credentials and competency for their initial licenses should contact the Sheriff’s Office to check on their renewal documentation requirements prior to reapplying.
